La Bottega is a family story, a passion project, and a neighborhood gem.

The journey began elbow-to-elbow at La Gondola, our family’s original restaurant, where Jonathan learned the heart of hospitality and the power of good food to build community all under the mentorship of his father, Chef Nir Weinblut.

That early experience laid the foundation for Jonathan’s next venture: The Bacon Guys, an artisanal brand focused on specialty cured meats and high-quality ingredients. When the current space for La Bottega became available, it was originally envisioned as a production kitchen for Bacon Guys. But something bigger took shape.

La Bottega was born from a blend of legacy and innovation — a tribute to the classic Italian deli, inspired by our roots at La Gondola and elevated by the craft-forward mindset of The Bacon Guys. What started as a production space evolved into a full gourmet marketplace: curated Italian goods, fresh deli items, and a growing menu of ready-to-eat offerings.
